Surabaya Long Trip

hey long time no blogging. instead i dont have anything to tell, my day is really busy full of works. i have just pass my mid term today. and i dont know why-i just feel not like had having exam. everythings just past out, just yeah read words but dunno what i've already read.

okay today i want to tell about my journey to surabaya with my family. it happened from november 22th to 25th. we rode by car. my daddy, me, and my brother, agus. just the three of us. my daddy drove the car by himself. can you image? from jakarta to surabaya, 58th man driving by himself, noone replace his seat. cannot imagine how tired he is.

we came in to toll road about 11 am on saturday 22th. do you know how really long journey we had? its about 700 km from jakarta to surabaya. and it took about twenty seven hours to arrived to my uncle's house in surabaya. i didnt think about it before we decide to go. i think it just took half of day to get there. and now im certainly do not wanna go by car anymore.

we had some accident in our trip. firstly, at Sukra District, motorcycle was slipt behind us. we didnt know weather it was because of us or just because himself. secondly, when daddy was driving on the road, there was a big truck kind of trailer which is bring a huge steel wire, drove right next to our car. and suddenly, the trailer's tire was burst! and it made the front right lamps of our car exploded. we lose one lamp, start to counting okey? we lose some part of car anyway.

the third accident, when we already in Rembang District, we lose left rearview mirror. the story was when daddy not really to be patient to stayed behind truck trailer. me either somehow :p the truck was really slow and they were block the way. the way just had two lanes in opposites dirrection. and when daddy tried to overtaking the truck, there was another truck in opposite dirrection, daddy didnt get chance to overtaking, and then he tried to came back to his line, but before he got his line, the car hit the back of the truck trailer. and yaps the left rearview mirror was broken and we got a deep scar at the left side of the car. so pity of you car. if i was those car, maybe i cry begging to back to home.

actually, we almost had four accident. if im not wrong, before we got to Rembang, at Kendall District, at night of the week we almot had an accident. again daddy try to overtaking the truck in front of us. the incident was almost the same like when we at Rembang District. But maybe Allah loves us and still want us to live. i remember the flash lamp of truck in opposite dirrection blicked to ous car like said "hey are you stupid? you steal my way!"

but there was unforgettable trip. really. and you know how many night we had in surabaya?? we just had one night and two days. really not worth it.

we came to Surabaya through the Pantura road and we went home had used the South way. Okey lets open your map. we went to Surabaya by journey from jakarta-bekasi-cikarang-karawang-indramayu-cirebon-brebes-tegal-kendal-semarang-demak-kudus-pati-rembang-tuban-lamongan-gresik-surabaya. and we went home took the way from surabaya-mojokerto-jombang-nganjuk-madiun-ngawi-sragen-purwodadi and back to semarang like when we went to surabaya. so we left Gresik until Rembang. My daddy about traumatic to go there again. and i admit those District are really had bad road and giant car, like truck, bus.

but all above are the painful story. at least i have to tell the happy story. we went to our family in surabaya, all of my daddy's brothers and sisters. we went to Suramadu Bridge too at sunday evening and stop by Kenjeran Beach. nothing special i think in Surabaya. I dont know maybe it was because to fast to spent the night. But surely Surabaya is really a hot province. you will never feel fresh after even you already get shower! yeah you know its because surabaya really near from the sea, so wind is come from sea.

me with my daddy and my brother promise wont go to Surabaya by car anymore. seriously it was very unforgettable trip. you should just go by train or plain, that are very fast and comfortable i think. i do not recommend you to go far by car, but if you insist, here some tips i can give to you :

1. pray to Allah for safety and fluency :)

2. check your car healthy. like the tire, wheels, steer, clutch, etc.

3. checklist your belonging. you should just bring some important stuff. just make your garage not to heavy because of your unneed luggage.

4. bring some food or snack in your car. if boredome attacks, you just need to pick some.

5. bring map to lead your way. its a must! (and, i didnt bring any on last trip.clever.)

6. before you go, decided what place do you want to visit

7. take a long day holiday not in full schedule. so you are not in hurry when you just arrived.

8. you have to had two driver at least. it will very tired if you just have one driver.

9. you must still awake not sleepy when driving, because it will break your consentration and too dangerous. take some rest even just for fifteen minutes like my daddy did.

10. think twice if you wanna go by car. just pick another transportation :p
